For First Time in Three Decades,Israel’s Existence Is Threatened

Believe it or not:
For the first time in three decades, the Zionist entity feels threatened in its mere existence…

For the first time since the Israeli enemy ended its hugest wars with the Arabs in 1973, the “existential threat” appeared again in the Israeli discussion battlegrounds at all levels…

US-Israeli Campaign To Defuse Tensions with Lebanon

“Israel must defuse escalating tensions along northern border with Lebanon,” Israeli daily Haaretz said in its Monday editorial, announcing a new “trend” in the Israeli enemy’s “foreign affairs”…

Given the situation in the region and the Resistance forces’ “readiness” to face all “threats,” Israel has launched a new “trend” in dealing with its so-called “enemies,” a trend that can be summarized by one word: “defusing tensions.”

All Of Israel’s Gush Dan in Hezbollah Rocket Range

Two days have passed on Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah’s speech and Israel has made only shy comments.

In his speech on Tuesday marking Hezbollah Martyr Leaders’ Day in Dahiyeh, Sayyed Nasrallah set a new equation that would shape the next round of confrontation with Israel.

The Hezbollah leader vowed to strike the Ben Gurion airport if martyr Rafiq Hariri’s International airport was hit by Israel. Sayyed Nasrallah also signaled that Hezbollah now possesses destructive power that would be used in Israel’s economic and populous center extending from Haifa to the south of Tel Aviv in case Israel used destructive power against buildings, factories, oil refineries, and the country’s infrastructure.

Israel Has 'Policy of Ambiguity' Over Dubai Killing; Mossad In Hot Seat

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday said that there was no proof Israel's Mossad spy agency was behind the assassination of a Hamas commander in Dubai last month, after it emerged that some members of the hit squad involved in the killing had used the identities of foreign-born Israelis.

Lieberman did not deny outright Israeli involvement in the killing of Hamas's Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel, saying only that Israel has a "policy of ambiguity" on intelligence matters and there was no proof it was behind the assassination.

Murr tells Ban Israel biggest violator of Resolution 1701

The UN secretary general also discussed with Murr “violations of Resolution 1701 by the Lebanese side” referring to the explosions in the southern villages of Khirbet Selm, Tair Felsey and Khiam incidents.

However, An-Nahar said Murr snapped back by saying that “these incidents cannot be compared in any form with the thousands of Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty and Resolution 1701.”

Lebanon’s next war may also be Syria’s

Media reports in recent days have painted dire scenarios for what is, supposedly, the inevitable conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Of particular note are persistent indicators that the next round, if or when it comes, will very likely involve Syria as well.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here is a scenario.

Israel attacks Lebanon and Syria.

Israel screams for help against the evil aggressors, then when the US sends YOUR kids to die in battle for Israel, Israel launches an attack against Iran.

Russia and China come in on Iran's side.

The US realizes it lacks the conventional forces to successfully wage a new world war and resorts to its nuclear arsenal against Russia and China.

China and Russia retaliate with their nuclear weapons.

The US, Russia, and China are blown back to the stone age.
Israel, laughing at how easy it was to trick the goyim into killing each other off, is now able to use their own nuclear arsenal to blackmail what is left of the world into submission.

Lebanese troops open fire on Israeli warplanes

Lebanese troops opened fire Sunday on four Israeli warplanes that flew into Lebanese airspace, the army said.

Israeli warplanes frequently fly over Lebanese territory in what Israel says are reconnaissance missions. The overflights have been a constant source of friction between the two countries. Sunday's incident comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East following some of the sharpest exchanges in years between Israel and its Arab neighbors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel will claim that Lebanon attacked them.

Lebanon warns of "dangerous" situation with Israel

Israeli aircraft are making daily incursions into Lebanese air space, creating a very dangerous situation, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri said in an interview broadcast on Wednesday.

Israel has insisted such flights are needed to monitor Hezbollah guerrillas and has criticized the 12,000-strong U.N. peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon, UNIFIL, for not stopping weapons Israeli officials say have been flowing to the group.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lebanon has every logical reason to be concerned with Israel's incursion into their airspace.

And regarding Hezbollah stockpiling weapons; with Israel's consistent military antagonism, who can blame them for wanting to defend Lebanon, should there be another Israeli military strike against it?!?

Lebanon PM Vows to Stand With Hezbollah in Event of Israeli Invasion

In an interview released today, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri expressed growing concern about the number of threats against the nation made by the Israeli government. “This is something that is escalating, and this is something that is really dangerous,” Hariri warned.

He cautioned that in the event of an Israeli invasion, the government would stand united with Hezbollah to oppose the Israeli forces.

Last month Israeli minister Yossi Peled warned that another war with Lebanon was inevitable.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel is itching to start another war, anywhere it thinks it can get away with it, be it Lebanon, Gaza, or Iran.

The world must stand united to let Israel know that any war it begins is unacceptable, no matter what false reason (or false flag) it may conjure up as the excuse to start a war.

Assad: We'll stand by Lebanon in case of Israeli attack

Syrian President Bashar Assad addressed the voices of war and peace in the Middle East for the first time Sunday evening. Speaking in a meeting with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berry, Assad stressed that his government and the Syrian people would stand by Lebanon "in any case of an Israeli attack which it may face."

Official Syrian news agency SANA reported that the two discussed "the repeated Israeli threats against the region's countries and Israeli extremism threatening to destroy the chances for peace by igniting the region with wars and taking it into the unknown."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bashar Assad is no fool; he knows what's coming.

And Israel may well want to think twice about going back into Lebanon.

US intelligence finds 5,000 Hizballah training to seize Galilee towns

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember my comment to yesterday's article about how the Israelis kidnapped a Lebanese youth (he has since been released)? That Israel would provoke until they got a reaction, then use the reaction to blame Lebanon for the resulting attack (the same thing they tried to do in Gaza)?

And remember how Israel started the last war with Lebanon, with a trick to try to place the blame on the victim!

This is also exactly what Hitler did to Poland; claiming that the Poles were ready to sweep across the border, thereby requiring a German "preemptive" attack.

Israeli soldiers abduct Lebanese teen shepherd from south

Lebanon has lodged a complaint against Israel to the United Nations Security Council to protest the kidnapping of a citizen in South Lebanon by an Israeli patrol Sunday afternoon. Israeli troops abducted a Lebanese boy in South Lebanon on Sunday, the National News Agency (NNA) reported. The 17-year old shepherd, Rabih Zahra, was tending a flock of sheep near Kfar Shouba when he was abducted. According to NNA, Zahra is being detained at the Zebdine military compound.

Webmaster's Commentary:

But when the war starts, Israel will demand the world place all the blame on Lebanon.

Israel will widen any future Lebanon conflict into Syria

The Israeli state must take into account Syria’s role in supporting Hizbullah in any future war with the Lebanese group, an Israeli security analyst said on Friday. Renewed hostilities could also see Israel launch a ground invasion of the Bekaa to cut Syrian supply routes to the Shiite group, Jonathan Spyer, senior research fellow at the Global Research in International Affairs Center, wrote in the Jerusalem Post. Hizbullah officials contacted by The Daily Star declined to comment on the story.

“The logic of confrontation in Lebanon suggests that Syria may find it hard to avoid direct engagement in a future Israel-Hizbullah clash,” Spyer said. The “point of no return” would be if Damascus provided anti-aircraft devices to Hizbullah to use during Israeli violations of Lebanese airspace.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A regional war in this area will spiral into a potential world war very quickly.

And Israel is itching for a way any, which way they can, and are currently doing illegal overflights of Lebanese airspace right now on a consistent basis.

When at some point, the Lebanese military strikes back, that will be the excuse Israel will use for going to war against it, to gain both territory and the water of the Litani river.

I am hoping that the adults in the room in the Lebanese government will not give the Israelis the luxury of getting such a war going, because that may definitely spiral from a regional confrontation to a world war.

The tree-lined bunkers that could change the face of the Middle East

It looks like a hop, skip and a jump. There's the first electrified fence, then the dirt strip to identify footprints, then the tarmac road, then one more electrified fence, and then acres and acres of trees. Orchards rather than tanks. Galilee spreads beyond, soft and moist and dark green in the winter afternoon - a peaceful Israel, you might think. And a peaceful Lebanon to the north, tobacco plantations amid the stony hills, just an occasional UN armoured vehicle to keep you on your toes. Goldstone found that Israel’s collective punishment policy in Lebanon served as a model for Gaza

As Israel prepares its response to the Goldstone Report, several articles indicate that its primary objective is to discredit the contention that it carried out, in the words of Ethan Bronner, “an official plan to terrorize the Palestinian population.” Today Haaretz reports that Israel’s response to the UN will seek to “reject most of the fundamental claims of the Goldstone report: it intentionally waged a punitive campaign against a civilian population, including the destruction of infrastructure.”

Ayalon: Hezbollah testing antiaircraft missiles

Ayalon warned Williams, who is responsible for the resolution's implementation, that Hezbollah fighters were testing surface-to-surface missile systems in Syria. He warned against the training of Hezbollah men on air-to-surface systems, which may be deployed in Lebanon in the future.

The deputy foreign minister demanded that the UN examine thoroughly the claims that Hezbollah is training and arming itself with modern weapon systems. He asked that the next UN report on Lebanon mention this incident, as well as other serious cases in which Hezbollah weapons were discovered in the country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ayalon is accusing Hezbollah in Lebanon of escalating their weapons capabilities... while Israel is holding military exercises right at the Lebanese border and illegally overflying Lebanese airspace?!?

Hezbullah would be foolish right now in not upping the ante here defensively, knowing that Israel is looking for some reason - any reason - to go back into Lebanon, no matter what protestations Ayalon makes to the contrary.

At the beginning of the new year, German weekly magazine Der Spiegel ran a controversial report claiming that the Lebanese movement Hezbollah was involved in drug trafficking to finance its “terrorist operations against Israel”. Needless to state, no factual evidence was cited in support of the claims as in the case of a growing list of previous smear-campaigns.

Report: Turkey warns Lebanon that Israel may be planning attack

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan this week warned Lebanese leaders that Israel may be planning an attack on its northern neighbor, Lebanese sources told the London-based Arabic language daily A-Sharq al-Awsat on Thursday.

At a meeting in Ankara with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and President Michel Suleiman on Monday, Erdogan declared that Israel was endangering world peace by using exaggerated force against the Palestinians, breaching Lebanon's air space and waters and for not revealing the details of its nuclear program

Webmaster's Commentary:

CONFRONTATION IN THE WIND.

An interesting but alarming article appeared and then quickly disappeared from the front page of the online Jerusalem Post yesterday. Short and to the point, it said simply that Syria would back Hezbollah in Lebanon if attacked by Israel adding that ‘Damascus considered any threat to Lebanon’s security as a threat to Syria’s security’. The report also noted, quoting the Qatari newspaper Al Watan, that Damascus was concerned about ‘Israeli deployment and manoeuvres along the northern border’. The report then went on to further quote Al Watan saying that a US official had told the Lebanese government that Israel planned to invade Lebanon up to Beirut if the Lebanese government did not disarm Hezbollah, something the Lebanese government is definitely not going to be doing.

Hezbollah gears up for new war

Hezbollah is rapidly rearming in preparation for a new conflict with Israel, fearing that Benjamin Netanyahu's government will attack Lebanon again prior to any assault on Iran's nuclear facilities.

In dramatic further evidence of growing tensions, the Observer has learned that Hezbollah fighters have been busy reinforcing fixed defence positions north of the Litani river.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The title of this article should have read "Israel gears up for a new war."

But Hezbollah is completely correct in their thinking that Israel has plans to re-invade Lebanon.

And the reinforcements of positions north of the Litani river indicates their certainty that this time, Israel will attempt to go all the way to the Litani river to claim it as Israel's territory; Israel is very desperate for its water.

Why Hezbollah Should Keeps its Weapons

Israel has become a mortal threat for Lebanon since its creation on the Palestinian lands. In an article entitled “A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s”, which appeared in the World Zionist Organization’s periodical Kivunim in February 1982, Oded Yinon, a journalist and analyst of Middle Eastern affairs and former senior Foreign Ministry official, told of “…the total disintegration of Lebanon into five regional, localized governments as the precedent for the entire Arab world…”. Therefore, the existence of a strong and independent Lebanon was considered as a main obstacle for Zionist plans for hegemony in the region.

Twice I met him, and as many times he delighted me. I can credit Robert Fisk with getting me interested in Lebanon. I have always read his books and articles passionately, and those who know me grew weary of my continuous references to him. But no more. The Fisk I admired is no longer the Fisk that the world knows today. His last article in which he equates Hezbollah, the Lebanese Resistance, with a bunch of anti-Semites is the figurative drop. The reason for this outrageous accusation? Hezbollah’s opposition to the teaching of the Anne Frank diary in the schools in the south of Lebanon. The Hezb'Allah Manifesto

"The history of the Arab-Israeli conflict proves that armed struggle and military resistance is the best way of ending the occupation. The method of negotiations has proven that the Zionist entity becomes more boastful and more belligerent, and that it has no intention of reaching an accord. The resistance has managed to achieve a huge victory over the Zionist entity, provide the homeland with protection, and liberation of the remainder of its land. This function is a lasting necessity before Israel's expansionist threats and ambitions as well as the lack of a strong government in Lebanon. The ongoing Israeli threat forces the resistance to continue to boost its capacity ... in order to fulfill its role in liberating occupied territory."

Lebanon’s 66th celebration of it’s Independence Day is today,November 22nd 2009 . It is a day in which the Lebanese remember and commemorate their liberation from the French Mandate which was imposed over Lebanese soil for over 23 years.

Lebanon has not only been occupied by foreign entities but attacked by them as well, most recently -the illegal state of Israel- during the 2006 July war wherein the Zionist entity attacked after Hezb’Allah captured two Israeli soldiers who had tried to illegally enter Lebanese soil.

Lebanese army chief: Prepare for Israeli attack

Lebanon's army chief, Jean Kahwaji, called on his soldiers to be wary and to prepare defenses along the border for a possible Israeli attack, the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported Saturday.

In a statement published in honor of Lebanon's Independence Day, the general said soldiers should prepare "to handle what the Israeli enemy is scheming against the homeland, and to continue the battle against its violations – in the air, water, and land – with all the tools at our disposal".

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Lebanese military know what's coming.

And this time, when Israel attacks, they will attempt to go all the way to the Litani River, because they are desperate for the water.

20-Year-Old Letterhead points to Israeli Forgery in Francop Affair

The Israelis have been maintaining that a ship, the Francop, that their forces boarded near Cyprus originated in Iran and was bringing arms to Hizbullah and Hamas. Many US news outlets published the accompanying picture, which seemed to indicate that the arms were being supplied by the Ministry of the Sipah [i.e. of soldier].

The name of that ministry was changed 20 years ago, however, to the Ministry of Defense. One Iranian journalist opined, "So this begs the question of what the emblem of a nonexistent body was doing on the cargo?"

Webmaster's Commentary:

And of course why would Iran put any official labels on a clandestine cargo of weapons to begin with?

Nov 17 08:27

Israel faked Francop arms claims -- Iran

The Los Angeles Times and other media outlets published a series of photos that allegedly back the Israeli claims. Iran, however, says one of the photos -- an apparent shipping manifest from the Ministry of Sepah -- is from a defunct agency, suggesting Israel made up the story, state-funded broadcaster Press TV reports
.

Other reports from the Iranian media blame Western reports, the Times in particular, for hyping claims that Iran, Syria and Hezbollah denied.

"The newspaper should know that if a country plans to send a secret arms cargo to another, it will not brand the shipment with a full description of the batch," Iranian media reports stated.

SABRA AND SHATILA REVISITED

I have been to over 30 refugee camps in Jordan and the West Bank and I did expect the refugee camps in Lebanon to be worse. I have read a lot and even seen pictures and some videos but still I was shocked by what I saw, what I smelled, what I heard and what I felt. The words I write cannot do justice to this.

“Hezb'Allah Knows Everything about the Israeli Army's Activities”

One day after Hezb'Allah General Secretary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel not to try to launch any aggression against Lebanon, promising it with humiliating defeat; Israeli media revealed Thursday that Hezb'Allah knows every single detail about the activities of the Israeli occupation army.

Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot said it has got a document confirming that Hezb'Allah knows every detail about the activities of the Israeli army and the command of the northern area and brigade 91 in the border area.

The Israeli paper says in its report issued Thursday morning, "The bulletin shows to what extent Hezb'Allah intelligence succeeded in penetrating into the Israeli army, and proves that Hezb'Allah has enough sources of information."

Nasrallah to Israelis: Send Your Whole Army, We'll Destroy Them!

Sayyed Nasrallah addressed Israeli, renewing commitment to the Resistance's pattern and choice. "Send as many Israeli brigades as you want, send even your whole army, we will destroy them in our valleys and mountains," his eminence said, addressing Israeli Prime Minister, Defense Minister and chief of staff.

His eminence then recalled of the US continuous support to Israel since the 2006 July war against Lebanon. "Since the July War, the US has offered Israel complete military and logistic support. The Obama administration came and sought to play the "hero" game claiming to spare efforts to suspend settlements. But I told you since the beginning it was just a trick and this is what happened, causing a sort of frustration within the Palestinians."

Only Resistance Can End Israeli Occupation

“During 18 years of resistance, many sacrificed their lives for defending Lebanon and liberating our country; the resistance movement owes its achievement to them and we will follow their path, which brought dignity to us,” the Hezb’Allah leader said.

He also called on Palestinians not to expect gaining their rights by counting on fake mediation efforts of the US, which is totally committed to Israeli interests.

“America is creating our problems; it is giving Israel all kinds of military and strategic support. US is backing away from pressuring Israel on settlements. How can we expect Washington to help us with our problems?” he asked.

Hezbollah gears up for new war

Hezbollah is rapidly rearming in preparation for a new conflict with Israel, fearing that Benjamin Netanyahu's government will attack Lebanon again prior to any assault on Iran's nuclear facilities.

The 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel began after an ill-advised operation by to kidnap two Israeli soldiers, prompting a massive Israeli response that lasted 34 days and killed more than 1,000 people.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given Israel's predilection for pre-emptive war, who can blame Hezbollah for re-arming?

And those two Israeli solders were not "kidnapped"; they were inside Lebanese territory when they were apprehended, just to set the record straight

US: Further security breaches can reignite Lebanon-Israel hostilities

The US Special Coordinator for Lebanon warned on Friday that any further security breaches from Lebanon and Israel could lead to a resumption of hostilities between the two nations. Michael Williams’ statement voicing concern over Tuesday’s exchange of rocket fire across the Blue Line came amid media reports that Lebanon’s ambassador to the UN claimed Israel was planning a “vast attack” on the country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is precisely what Israel wants to happen, and one has to wonder how many of these bottle rockets were set up on timers to make it appear that Hizbullah was targeting Israel as an excuse to re-invade.

Lebanon warns UN: Israel planning to attack us

Lebanon's ambassador to the United Nations has warned that Israel is exhibiting signs of an imminent attack on his country, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Hayyat reported on Friday.

Ambassador Noaf Salaam sent missives to the United Nations secretary general and to the Security Council condemning Israel's recent artillery fire on the village of Houla, the site where a Katyusha rocket was fired at the Upper Galilee last week.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Those Katyushas were probably placed on the Lebanese border by Israeli soldiers, attempting to provoke a military confrontation.

But the next time Israel invades Lebanon (and this is a question of when, not if), look for the IDF to go all the way to the Litani River, and claim it as Israeli territory. Israel is desperate for the water it provides.

UN finds more rockets aimed at Israel from southern Lebanon

“Such attacks are evidently aimed at provoking renewed hostilities to undermine the security and stability in south Lebanon,” the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said in a news release, in which it also voiced concern at Israel’s return fire of artillery shells on Monday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yep, now that war with Iran just collapsed, Israel is out to start a new war with Lebanon to try to wiggle out of the Goldstone Report.

It took place on October 26, 1948 in Lebanon. Houla is located in Southern Lebanon, only a few kilometers from the Israeli border. When Arab volunteers gathered to liberate Palestine from “Israel” occupation, they established their headquarters in Houla, on hills overlooking Palestine. The force was successful in fending off major attacks on Lebanese villages, but the fighters suddenly withdrew on October 26, 1948.” “Jewish militants attacked the town to avenge the residents’ support of Arab resistance forces.

Lebanon: Israel arranged Katyusha fire to keep tensions high

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Thursday suggested that Israel had arranged for collaborators in his country to fire Katyusha rockets at the Galilee earlier this week, in a bid to keep tensions high in the area.

According to the Lebanese newspaper A-Sapir, Israel's declarations that it would not cease its intelligence activities on Lebanese territories validate Suleiman's accusations.

Israel cites more Lebanon rocket fire

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations says the world body should investigate a rise in rocket fire coming across Israel's border from Lebanon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I agree. The United nations should investigate is Israel is planting these largely ineffective but headline grabbing rockets to distract the world (and the UN) from the Goldstone Report.

The question everyone has to ask is this: Why would anyone in Lebanon fire these rather pointless fireworks rockets into Israel just when Israel most needs it? The rockets accomplish nothing except give Israel an easy means to draw attention away from the charge of War Crimes. The Lebanese, HAMAS, Hezbollah and Palestinians are all smart enough to understand that the longer they do nothing, the worse it will be for Israel.

Qui Bono?

Lebanon discovers rockets bound for Israel

A day after Israel's artillery attack on southern Lebanon, the Lebanese army troops say they have discovered four rockets ready to be launched at Israel.

The Katyusha-type rockets, which were set with timers, were found Wednesday in a half-built house in the border village of Hula, where nine Israeli artillery shells landed the night before.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So that's a Katyusha?

It's a glorified bottle-rocket!

Hand-made so it cannot be traced, small enough to smuggle across a border, set up on a wood ramp meaning the perps didn't really care if it hit anything or not as long as it was seen.

Qui Bono?

Note also that Hula is very near the Litani River, known to be an objective of Israel. It has been the site of previous massacres committed by the Israelis.

In Israel, a Key Test of Obama’s Retooled Missile Shield

This week, the United States and Israel kicked off a major air-defense exercise that will test scenarios including coordinated missile barrages launched from Iran or from Syria, as well as shorter-range rocket attacks by Hezbollah or Hamas.... Brig. Gen. Doron Gavish, commander of the Israel Air Force’s Air Defense Division, said in a press conference that the exercise was not related to Iran’s continued missile tests and enrichment of nuclear fuel. “It is a carefully designed exercise that has been taking place for years.” But Ha’aretz describes the drill as “preparation for a faceoff with Iran.”...

As part of the contingent of 1,000 U.S. troops taking part in the exercise, the Ohio Army National Guard’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force will take part; the Guardsmen have been training with the Israeli Home Front Command as part of the exercise.

Rocket fire exchanged between Lebanon and Israel

A Katyusha-type rocket fired from Lebanon hit northern Israel on Tuesday night without causing any casualties, prompting Israel to retaliate with a salvo of missiles, sources on both sides said.

The rocket fired from Lebanon hit open ground east of the Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona and started a fire, which did not cause any serious damage, they said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Now that war with Iran is derailed by the pending nuclear agreement, Israel needs a war to distract the world from War Crimes charges being brought at the UN.

As usual, just when Israel needs it, an unidentified party fires a single fireworks rocket into Israel, hitting nothing of any value, thereby justifying Israel's "retaliation."

I mean, just stop and ask yourself, why would anyone actually in Lebanon give Israel what it most needs to have right now; a rocket that hits absolutely nothing of value, but gives Israel the excuse it needs for another attack on Lebanon? The Lebanese aren't stupid enough to do that, and you are not stupid enough to believe it.

Remember that the Lebanese routinely find planted rockets set up just inside the border, aimed back at Israel.

In this report, the rockets are old, fired with delayed timers, and propped up against pieces of furniture as launchers, meaning they were never intended to hit a specific target; just create a politically useful noise.

"By way of deception...."

Breaking News:Israeli Artillery Shells Target Houla in South Lebanon

Israel to UN: We'll Continue Spying in Southern Lebanon!

Israeli daily Haaretz revealed on Monday that Israel informed the United Nations that it will continue its spying activities in Southern Lebanon after the United Nations has asked the Zionist entity for clarifications on “listening devices” that were uncovered near the village of Hula in southern Lebanon last week. The request was made following an official Lebanese petition to the UN.

According to Haaretz, Israel neither denied nor confirmed that it had placed intelligence-gathering equipment in the area, but informed the UN that “collecting intelligence” in southern Lebanon, in reference to spying, will continue “as long as the government in Beirut is not in full control of its territory.”

UN: Israeli Spy Devices Responsible for Lebanon Blasts

Planting such devices would be a flagrant violation of the resolution 1701 ceasefire agreement which ended the conflict, but while Israel declined to comment on the nature of the devices they said their discovery proved that Hezbollah was actually violating the deal. They also claimed that the UN report was part of a Hezbollah plot to distract attention from their violation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel's tantrums over the Goldstone Report have made it very difficult for her slaves in other governments to come to her aid. Screaming that the UN is "plotting" in Lebanon only makes Israel look even more like a paranoid raving lunatic soaked in the innocent blood of people she imagined to be enemies.

Under General Assembly Resolution 273, Israel was admitted on the condition that it grant all Palestinians the right to return to their homes and receive compensation for lost or damaged property, according to General Assembly Resolution 194, paragraph 11.

Suffice to say, Israel has never lived up to these terms.

Israel's membership in the UN is therefore null and void.

Lebanese PM: Spying devices prove Israel violated UN resolution 1701

Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Saniora called the Israeli spying devices discovered in southern Lebanon a clear violation of UN Security Council resolution 1701 that ended the Second Lebanon War, Israel Radio reported on Sunday night.

Under General Assembly Resolution 273, Israel was admitted on the condition that it grant all Palestinians the right to return to their homes and receive compensation for lost or damaged property, according to General Assembly Resolution 194, paragraph 11.

Israel may have planted spy gear in Lebanon: U.N.

A U.N. investigation into explosions in south Lebanon indicated on Sunday that Israel had planted spy devices on Lebanese land in what a senior U.N. official said would be a violation of a ceasefire agreement.

The UNIFIL peacekeeping force in Lebanon said its preliminary probe into two explosions in the south showed they had been caused by the detonation of underground sensor devices.

The units were apparently buried by Israeli forces during the 2006 war with the Lebanese Shi'ite group Hezbollah, it said.

"These do look like some sort of espionage device," Michael Williams, the U.N. special coordinator for Lebanon, told Reuters.

If confirmed, the devices would represent violations of Security Council resolution 1701 which halted the 34-day war.

Another Lebanese War on the Horizon?

The IDF Intelligence video released this week showing Hizbullah terrorists stockpiling long-range missiles is the proof that Israel needs to “take off its gloves” in the next round of warfare. So says long-time military analyst Yisrael Katzover, speaking with Arutz-7’s Hebrew newsmagazine.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The alleged re-arming by the Hizbullah is the "good reason" for yet another Israeli incursion into Lebanon.

But the real reason is the Litani River, and the fresh water Israel so desperately needs.

When Israel goes into Lebanon again ( not a question of if, but when), look for the IDF to go all the way to the Litani.

UPDATE: The "long range rockets" Israel accused Lebanon of stockpiling turned out to be sliding doors.

Alleged Hezb’Allah “Rocket”… A Sliding Door!

It's, once again, the Israeli "creativity" in fabricating stories…

Unfortunately, it's also once again the Lebanese and Arab "creativity" in "adopting" the Israeli "imagination" and spreading it…

On Monday, breaking news constituted the headlines in Lebanon, the Arab world and the Zionist entity. A "vague" blast hit the southern town of Teir Felsay causing a large number of deaths and injuries, including a member of Hezbollah and his son.

This is how the Lebanese had to receive the information at first to perceive, just a few hours later, that all what happened was a small blast that wounded just one person.

Peres: Hizbullah Turning Lebanon into a 'Power Keg'

Hizbullah has turned Lebanon, formerly known as the “Switzerland of the Middle East,” into a “powder keg” of explosives, President Shimon Peres said a day after a “work accident’" that may have killed five members of the Iranian-sponsored militia, including a senior terrorist.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Shimon Peres: it is Israel which has turned the entire Middle East into a powder keg by its treatment of the Palestinians, the absence of wanting to pursue a just peace coupled with the establishment of a viable Palestinian state, and its refusal to sign the NPT and allow nuclear weapons inspections.
