In the latest developments in this context, a well-informed source told Al-Manar on Friday that the Lebanese army intelligence directorate has arrested two espionage networks serving the Zionist enemy, one in the north and the other in the south.

Three days following the “terror balance” speech delivered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah in the occasion of the Martyr leaders’ anniversary on Tuesday, and while Israeli authorities maintained their “unprecedented silence,” the first “practical” moves saw light…

In his speech on Tuesday marking Hezbollah Martyr Leaders’ Day in Dahiyeh, Sayyed Nasrallah set a new equation that would shape the next round of confrontation with Israel.

The Hezbollah leader vowed to strike the Ben Gurion airport if martyr Rafiq Hariri’s International airport was hit by Israel. Sayyed Nasrallah also signaled that Hezbollah now possesses destructive power that would be used in Israel’s economic and populous center extending from Haifa to the south of Tel Aviv in case Israel used destructive power against buildings, factories, oil refineries, and the country’s infrastructure.

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday said that there was no proof Israel's Mossad spy agency was behind the assassination of a Hamas commander in Dubai last month, after it emerged that some members of the hit squad involved in the killing had used the identities of foreign-born Israelis.

Lieberman did not deny outright Israeli involvement in the killing of Hamas's Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel, saying only that Israel has a "policy of ambiguity" on intelligence matters and there was no proof it was behind the assassination.

The New York Times simply refuses to deal with “enemy” Muslim states with any sense of objectivity or fairness, reaffirming its deep-seated bias again on Sunday with the publication of a one-sided article about the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on its fifth anniversary.

Dr. Hilal Khashan, a Palestinian-American scholar chairing of Department of Political Studies and Public Administration at the American University of Beirut, said that "the war is looming."

The Israeli military returned a 17-year-old shepherd Monday who was arrested after he wandered into Israeli territory during the weekend. Lebanese media reports said he showed signs of abuse upon his return to Lebanese authorities.

Israeli army crosses into Lebanon

An Israeli army unit on Sunday crossed the borders with Lebanon in the direction of the occupied part of al-Ghajar village, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.
"An intense Israeli build-up of forces during the past 24 hours has been observed along the eastern sector of the Blue Line, with mobile and fixed patrols," said NNA.
It added that "Israeli tank emplacements were spotted amid intense overflights by helicopter gunships and warplanes."

At the beginning of the new year, German weekly magazine Der Spiegel ran a controversial report claiming that the Lebanese movement Hezbollah was involved in drug trafficking to finance its “terrorist operations against Israel”. The article proceeded to allege that individuals involved in the cartel had contacts with the central nexus of the resistance movement including its Secretary-General. Needless to state, no factual evidence was cited in support of the claims as in the case of a growing list of previous smear-campaigns.

“We know Hezbollah is growing stronger with Syria's help, and occasionally with Iran's assistance,” Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said during a tour of the northern border on Tuesday.

"Should the (security) situation deteriorate, we'll hold the Lebanese government and all those who help Hezbollah responsible," said Barak at an Israeli occupation army outpost overlooking south Lebanon's villages.

South Lebanon was once again the center of attraction on Monday as President Michel Sleiman started an inspection tour in it, shortly after Lebanese anti-aircraft guns opened fire on four Israeli warplanes which were flying at low altitude over Marjayoun.

“The army’s anti-aircraft guns fired at four enemy Israeli planes that had been overflying the southern area of Marjayoun this morning,” an army spokesman told AFP.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri criticized some Lebanese groups for raising the issue of UN Resolution 1559 while ignoring Israel’s non-commitment to every international resolution related to the Zionist state. Speaking to Assafir daily, last Tuesday, Berri said he ‘has a surprise for those who still believe in the validity of UNSCR 1559,” without elaborating.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah gave a speech in Beirut’s southern suburb Dahiyeh on Sunday. “Today in Dahiyeh… we declare that the American scheme of hegemony threatens our nation, values, and the future of our peoples. We condemn its schemes and wars on our countries and peoples. We condemn its full partnership with Israel in those crimes. We also call upon the nation to be aware of the real nature of this enemy and this plot and not to be mislead by the fake slogans about freedom.”

Preliminary reports say that at least three people have been killed and five others injured as an explosion hits the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where the Shia Hezbollah movement has its headquarters.[...]

Those killed in the blast were the members of the security services. They were reportedly trying to defuse an explosive device planted in a car belonging to a high-ranking Hamas official based in Lebanon.

Lebanon is a small country, approximately 0.7% the size of Connecticut with a population a bit more than 1% of America’s. A Swiss newspaper said that a number of UN employees in Geneva have concluded that Israel is eavesdropping on UN court sessions. The Neue Zuericher Zeitung (NZZ) added that bugging devices have been found in the organization’s deliberations room in the Swiss capital.

NZZ revealed that other spying devices have also been found in other parts of the building, including courtrooms.

sraeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Tuesday that Israel will not accept Hezb'Allah's membership in the Lebanese government and will hold Lebanon responsible for any military clash in the north.

"We will not accept the equation whereby a UN member state is home to a militia in possession of 40,000 rockets but also parliament members and ministers," he said while meeting municipal leaders in northern occupied territories.

"The Lebanese government is responsible for any clash rather than the Hezb'Allah, and all of Lebanon's systems will be held accountable."

Lebanon’s 66th celebration of it’s Independence Day is today,November 22nd 2009 . It is a day in which the Lebanese remember and commemorate their liberation from the French Mandate which was imposed over Lebanese soil for over 23 years.

Lebanon has not only been occupied by foreign entities but attacked by them as well, most recently -the illegal state of Israel- during the 2006 July war wherein the Zionist entity attacked after Hezb’Allah captured two Israeli soldiers who had tried to illegally enter Lebanese soil.

One day after Hezb'Allah General Secretary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel not to try to launch any aggression against Lebanon, promising it with humiliating defeat; Israeli media revealed Thursday that Hezb'Allah knows every single detail about the activities of the Israeli occupation army.

Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot said it has got a document confirming that Hezb'Allah knows every detail about the activities of the Israeli army and the command of the northern area and brigade 91 in the border area.

The Israeli paper says in its report issued Thursday morning, "The bulletin shows to what extent Hezb'Allah intelligence succeeded in penetrating into the Israeli army, and proves that Hezb'Allah has enough sources of information."

Sayyed Nasrallah addressed Israeli, renewing commitment to the Resistance's pattern and choice. "Send as many Israeli brigades as you want, send even your whole army, we will destroy them in our valleys and mountains," his eminence said, addressing Israeli Prime Minister, Defense Minister and chief of staff.

His eminence then recalled of the US continuous support to Israel since the 2006 July war against Lebanon. "Since the July War, the US has offered Israel complete military and logistic support. The Obama administration came and sought to play the "hero" game claiming to spare efforts to suspend settlements. But I told you since the beginning it was just a trick and this is what happened, causing a sort of frustration within the Palestinians."

“During 18 years of resistance, many sacrificed their lives for defending Lebanon and liberating our country; the resistance movement owes its achievement to them and we will follow their path, which brought dignity to us,” the Hezb’Allah leader said.

He also called on Palestinians not to expect gaining their rights by counting on fake mediation efforts of the US, which is totally committed to Israeli interests.

“America is creating our problems; it is giving Israel all kinds of military and strategic support. US is backing away from pressuring Israel on settlements. How can we expect Washington to help us with our problems?” he asked.

Once again, the Zionist entity seemed to be “depressed” after another attempt to hit the Lebanese and Palestinian Resistance was found to be useless.

On Wednesday, Israeli Navy commando force, that reached the deep sea in small boats, boarded the Francop, a cargo ship owned by charter company UFS traveling under an Antiguan flag. According to Israeli media, the crew of sailors did not resist the commando and said that they did not know what was in the large container on board. The commando force opened the container and revealed missiles, rockets, shells, grenades, and small arms.

It took place on October 26, 1948 in Lebanon. Houla is located in Southern Lebanon, only a few kilometers from the Israeli border. When Arab volunteers gathered to liberate Palestine from “Israel” occupation, they established their headquarters in Houla, on hills overlooking Palestine. This week, the United States and Israel kicked off a major air-defense exercise that will test scenarios including coordinated missile barrages launched from Iran or from Syria, as well as shorter-range rocket attacks by Hezbollah or Hamas.... Brig. Gen. Doron Gavish, commander of the Israel Air Force’s Air Defense Division, said in a press conference that the exercise was not related to Iran’s continued missile tests and enrichment of nuclear fuel. “It is a carefully designed exercise that has been taking place for years.” But Ha’aretz describes the drill as “preparation for a faceoff with Iran.”...

As part of the contingent of 1,000 U.S. troops taking part in the exercise, the Ohio Army National Guard’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force will take part; the Guardsmen have been training with the Israeli Home Front Command as part of the exercise.

Israeli occupation army fired seven artillery shells at the Wadi Slouki region, near the town of Houla in south Lebanon. News agencies reported a Katyusha rocket had been fired earlier from the same bombed region targeting an open area in the Israeli settlement of Keryat Shmona without causing injuries.

Israeli daily Haaretz revealed on Monday that Israel informed the United Nations that it will continue its spying activities in Southern Lebanon after the United Nations has asked the Zionist entity for clarifications on “listening devices” that were uncovered near the village of Hula in southern Lebanon last week. The request was made following an official Lebanese petition to the UN.

According to Haaretz, Israel neither denied nor confirmed that it had placed intelligence-gathering equipment in the area, but informed the UN that “collecting intelligence” in southern Lebanon, in reference to spying, will continue “as long as the government in Beirut is not in full control of its territory.”

On Monday, breaking news constituted the headlines in Lebanon, the Arab world and the Zionist entity. A "vague" blast hit the southern town of Teir Felsay causing a large number of deaths and injuries, including a member of Hezbollah and his son.

This is how the Lebanese had to receive the information at first to perceive, just a few hours later, that all what happened was a small blast that wounded just one person.

Not only was the UN (the men in the blue hats) at the scene of the explosion but the Lebanese army..
There were no weapons and the gray object being moved was the garage door.
