Since posting the story about how the US Navy altered the description of the photo of USS Skate at the North Pole, I have received numerous emails from totally unknown email addresses insisting that the Navy was not "Orwellzing" the caption to please the carbonazis, but correcting history by saying that the Skate actually went to the North Pole in summer. Obviously, Skate was at the North Pole in Spring as this commemorative documents.
