According to a 2007 New Yorker article by Seymour Hersh, "The Redirection," the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia had been assembling a region-wide army of extremist-mercenaries to battle Hezbollah in Lebanon, destabilize and overthrow Syria, and create a united front against Iran.

The Army is investigating Brig. Gen. Jeffrey A. Sinclair, who has been reassigned from Afghanistan back to Fort Bragg, officials said Friday.

Earlier this month, Sinclair was removed from his job as the 82nd Airborne Division's deputy commanding general for support in Afghanistan. He had been deputy commander since July 2010.

"This is a criminal investigation," said Ben Abel, a Fort Bragg spokesman.

Following recently passed legislation to allow 30,000 drones to operate over the U.S. by 2020, a newly discovered Air Force document posted by Steve Watson at InfoWars has some interesting implications (Via Drudge Report).

Anyone who has watched even a single 2012 Republican Primary debate should be aware by now that there is has been an unshakeable commitment by virtually every candidate to the colonial “state” of Israel. CNN warns an entire outfit of Al-Qaeda terrorist are planning to conduct attacks on US soil using sophisticate high-tech bombs undetectable by security systems.

Their report quotes a Stratfor VP, a company the corporate media recently told us wasn't a realible source of information.

So what to take from this: 1) Apparently Strafor IS a reliable source of information - otherise the entire CNN report must be false propaganda and they would never do such a thing 2) A terrorist attack will soon occur against the US in a the near future which will be used to justify more constitution trampling laws that permanently revoke our civil rights. WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon said Tuesday it is sending military trainers back to Yemen for "routine" counterterrorism cooperation with Yemeni security forces amid an intensified battle against an offshoot of the al-Qaida terror network.

"We have begun to reintroduce small numbers of trainers into Yemen," a Pentagon spokesman, Navy Capt. John Kirby, told reporters.

Anybody who reads this site knows who did 911! Mr.Rodriguez like all intelligent criminals thinks it's alright to cover up crimes he is complicit in.

New information on the torture of detainees in custody at CIA “black sites” has come to light, revealing that the videotaped torture of Abu Zubaydah, tapes destroyed in 2005 by the CIA, showed Zubaydah “vomiting and screaming” after being stripped naked and waterboarded.

Jose Rodriguez, the author of a new book defending the torture of suspects as a proud moment in American history, insisted that he was perfectly within his rights to order all of the videos of the torture to be destroyed.

Opposition Levels Unseen Since Vietnam War!

A new AP/Gfk poll is showing that the trend of opposition to the Afghan War continues, with an overwhelming 66% of Americans now opposed to the conflict, with only 8 percent of Americans remaining “strongly” in support of it.

The AP compared the poll to a late 1971 poll on the Vietnam War, which showed 65% of Americans opposed to continuing that war. But while the US was slowly beginning its withdrawal from Vietnam at that time, President Obama is just one week off of signing a deal to keep US troops occupying Afghanistan through 2024.

Living in America is becoming very difficult for anyone with a moral conscience, a sense of justice, or a lick of intelligence. Consider:

We have had a second fake underwear bomb plot, a much more fantastic one than the first hoax. The second underwear bomber was a CIA operative or informant allegedly recruited by al-Qaeda, an organization that US authorities have recently claimed to be defeated, in disarray, and no longer significant.

This defeated and insignificant organization, which lacks any science and technology labs, has invented an “invisible bomb” that is not detected by the porno-scanners. A “senior law enforcement source” told the New York Times that “the scary part” is that “if they build one, they probably built more.”...

It is crunch time in Syria. Allow the jihadist battle to take flight there, and there is no telling how far and wide this fight will spread. The Annan Plan is the “only game in town,” and the Syrian Army the only military force that can take action against these militants.

We have arrived at a determining moment in the Syrian crisis. The choices are startlingly simple:

1) Cautious, incremental movement toward political reconciliation and reform spearheaded by the Syrian government and closely monitored by Kofi Annan’s UN mission, Moscow, Tehran and Beijing.

2) Dangerous escalation of violence and militarization that will increasingly include foreign jihadists and is likely spill over into the broader Middle East.

If you have been paying attention to the (alternative) news over the latest 24 to 48 hours, you probably read about a CIA plane that just crashed carrying tons of cocaine.

Of course that plane was supposed to be transporting prisoners to a secret torture prison but that is another topic.

Foreign Policy – I did a brief interview for All Things Considered last Friday, on the topic of media handling of the current war scare over Iran. Here's a link to the story, which ran over the weekend.

The interview got me thinking about the issue of media coverage of this whole business, and I'm sorry to say that most mainstream news organizations have let us down again.

As part of the coordinated biometric border control program, including Secure Communities, a new mobile device called SEEK II has been ordered by Customs and Border Protection.

The Federal Biometric ID program which was announced by ICE back in February of 2011 was introduced under the guise of tracking immigrants who have been booked for crimes by local police.

The East Cairo Military Prosecution office on Saturday has ordered the detention of 300 people over deadly clashes between troops and anti-military protesters in Cairo for 15 days pending investigations, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported.

AP quoted lawyer Ragia Omran as saying that this is one of the largest mass arrests during the transition period. She reported that the detainees, including 18 women, are being interrogated by military prosecutors and may face military trials, AP reported.

KABUL — The pact between the United States and Afghanistan could leave the door open for continued drone strikes against insurgent targets in Pakistan after 2014, U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker indicated May 2.

“Justice Dept Bungled Israeli Spy Case”

On May 4, 2012 IRmep Director Grant F. Smith confronts US Attorney Ronald Machen about false statements made after Stewart Nozette attempted to sell $200 million-$1 billion in secrets to Israel Aerospace Industries, an organization with a history of espionage against the US.

Here are two versions of what happened the night of March 11, when 17 Afghan villagers were shot to death.
First, the Army version: Staff Sgt. Robert Bales, troubled by marriage woes, drunkenly left Camp Belambai, 12 miles from Kandahar, with a pistol and an automatic rifle and killed six people as they slept. Bales then returned to the base and left again for another village, this time killing 11. He acted alone and he admitted to the killings, according to the Army.
Then there is the account that child witnesses provided Yalda Hakim, a journalist for SBS Dateline in Australia. Hakim, who was born in Afghanistan and immigrated to Australia as a child, is the first international journalist to interview the surviving witnesses. She said American investigators tried to prevent her from interviewing the children, saying her questions could traumatize them. She said she appealed to village leaders, who arranged for her to interview the witnesses.

A nuclear weapon that wasn’t supposed to exist, a single 500 kiloton hydrogen bomb, one of four being tracked, was seen being loaded at the German port of Bemerhaven, Germany.

Attempts to track the sub in the busy harbour were in vain and it is unknown what the nationality of the crew were or the destination, whether the UK, the US or some place in the Middle East.

Two British soldiers have been killed in a mortar attack on an army base in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence said.

The two men were members of the Royal Logistics Corps and were attached to the 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh Battlegroup. Their families have been informed.

The soldiers were in forward operating base Ouellette, in the northern part of Nahr-e Saraj district, in Helmand province, when it came under "indirect" mortar fire from Taliban fighters on Friday.
